Computer-based interlocking system, CBI-TEG, is designed for automated control of track-side objects – switches, light signals, level crossings, etc. – at railway stations to organize train operations with the use of up-to-date computer-based technologies.

CBI-TEG provides the functions of control and monitoring of the state of objects, diagnostics of the technical condition of devices, self-diagnostics, and logging of operations.

CBI-TEG is a hardware and software complex that allows implementing various configurations of electrical interlocking in accordance with a specific design of the station with the possibility of subsequent adjustments in case of changing track layout. The hardware of the CBI-TEG system is implemented as a hierarchical structure with an information support level, a logical information processing level, and an input/output interface level.
