Computer-based semi-automatic blocking system MPAB-TEG
About product
Computer-based semiautomatic blocking system MPAB-TEG is highly reliable system designed for interval control of train traffic along their routes on open line sections. MPAB-TEG systems combine principles of equipment and communication channel reservation, ability to organize digital interface for interaction with other systems, self-diagnostics functions, and ability to maintain system logs (archives).
Systems can be linked via digital and relay-contact interfaces. They can be used with any types of electrical interlocking, both on relay and microprocessor element base, and are excellent for replacing physically and morally obsolete blocking devices.
This system can be used on sections with any track layout and type of traction, as well as with any means of signaling, interlocking and communication used in federal and industrial railway transport.
System is a design-assembled product consisting of basic and a variable part.
MPAB-TEG provides the following functions: control of objects and monitoring of their condition, diagnostics of devices, self-diagnostics, as well as logging of work.
Control and management functions
-
monitoring condition of tracks and isolated sections (occupancy, actual and logical vacancy, malfunction);
-
monitoring status (occupancy, vacancy) of sections and approach sections;
-
displaying status (on, off, etc.) of control and management objects on monitor screens;
-
checking safety conditions of train traffic;
-
automatic sectional route disconnection, including disconnection of unused portions of the route during angular entries.
Advantages
-
ability to work via any communication channels, including fiber optics. Length of controlled section along physical circuit of cable line is up to 35 km, an overhead communication line – up to 65 km, via communication channels – unlimited;
-
integration with any existing electrical interlocking and computer based interlocking systems at station;
-
maintaining system's operability for at least 8 hours when power feeders are disconnected by using its own uninterruptible power supply devices;
-
possibility of organizing automatic block posts on open line sections;
-
built-in technical diagnostics system with data archiving;
-
ability to switch intermediate station to automatic mode;
-
possibility of inclusion in centralized dispatch system.
